ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hello, I'm so glad to have you visit with me and my work!

I'm a life-long artist and for the past 9 years an enthusiastic painter of color-filled abstract expressions. Always interested in the extraordinary, my intuitive works are an exploration with mysterious and imaginative scenes, straight from...well, who knows where.

I grew up in the coulees next to beautiful woods, cropfields and a creek with views of the faraway Rocky mountains of Alberta, Canada. As a young child I wandered alone in the peace and quiet of a breathing woodland, only birds and later my horse for company. I was always seeking the next small private joy, of which there were many. So many stories to tell my words tangle, so instead I use paint to express those remembered times, in several different styles.

Explore each category as there is a significant difference between subject matter. Please if you have any questions about the paintings, drop an email. And if you purchase one, you have my deepest gratitude! I'd also appreciate your positive review once you receive it.

Thank you! YOPE
